Scenes

Each scene is a multi-device command that coordinates different smart devices to accomplish a complex task. To secure your house when you leave, just tap the ‘Away' Scene. Your smart security system will arm itself, your front door will lock, your garage will close and your thermostat will set back to save energy. Tap the ‘Sleep' Scene. Your home will secure itself with "Arm Stay" status, and your thermostat will dial down or switch to the bedroom temperature sensor for a comfortable night. Scenes are useful commands, with names like Home, Away, and Sleep, that activate several different devices at once. With smart locks powered by Alarm.com, Scenes can include access control. Tapping your Home button as you arrive home will unlock your door and disarm your security system. Tapping the Sleep button last thing at night will lock your doors and arm the system, as well as turning the thermostat down.

When your panel is armed in "away" mode you simply need to come within range and it will disarm automatically. It's secure, encrypted, and individually authenticated, and you can add automation rules like "when system disarmed by authorized user, unlock the front door and turn on the porch light" making it so your home is unlocked and disarmed as you approach it and you didn't have to do a single thing to make that happen.

Our app for Apple Watch uses quick, light interactions to make controlling your smart home as easy as checking the time. Control your security system, locks, lights, garage door and thermostats, watch video and get alerts.
